Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Aurora Zanghì, I’m 23 years old and I live in San Benedetto del Tronto (Ascoli Piceno). I graduated in October 2020 in Disciplines of Linguistic Mediation at the University of Macerata in English, Arabic and Spanish languages. I am currently attending the Master’s Degree course in Integrated Communication for Businesses and Organizations at the University of Udine. In the summer of 2019 I did the Erasmus Traineeship in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), where I worked as a receptionist at the Nest Style Santiago Hotel. It was a highly educational experience for me as I was able to learn better the Spanish language and compare myself with many people from different countries and cultures. Plans for the future? At the moment I don’t have any. I live in the present looking towards what will come, wherever it’ll take me.
MY PASSIONS
TRAVELS
Nothing opens your mind more than travelling. In my life I had the possibility to travel in different European countries and, as I already said, I had the opportunity to live in the wonderful city of Santiago de Compostela thanks to the Erasmus Traineeship. My secret dream is to travel out the European borders and, in particular, I’d like to visit Australia, land where my grandparents lived for many years before returning back to Italy.
ART AND LITERATURE
Those are surely among the purest and truest things in the world. I love art in all its forms and I’m always fascinated by the stories it can tell. Sometimes while looking at a piece of art I like to travel back in time with my mind, imagining to be present during the moment it was created. Classical literature and in particular poetry, on the other hand, have always had a special place in my heart. Sometimes, when I feel inspired, I like to write little poems, usually in front of a beautiful landscape.
MUSIC
Last but not least is music. This great passion of mine came out when, as a young girl, I started studying and playing the violin and the piano, studies that I carried on for some years. However, I am passionate about many musical genres, particularly rock, metal, indie and pop.
